The Greater Metropolitan Phoenix area actually consists of more than 15 different cities. Phoenix is located in the center and the other towns/cities surround it. From Glendale and Surprise in the west to Chandler, Mesa and Tempe in the east, each town has a flavor all of its own. And, within each town, the individual communities can vary greatly from one another.
