Originally from California, Michael moved to the Valley in 1996.   Shortly thereafter, he began working with and studying under Mr. Tom Hopkins, one of America’s top real estate Sales Trainers.  Following Michael’s time with Mr. Hopkins, he worked in commercial real estate (CRE) for over 5 years as a regional manager for the industry’s leading CRE firm, Berkadia. While at Berkadia, Michael helped lead 16 investment sales teams, consisting of 55 investment brokers, and supported a 14-person marketing project management team throughout Berkadia’s U.S. markets. The knowledge gained throughout Michael’s 12 years with Mr. Hopkins and 5 years with Berkadia has provided him with valuable skills that he uses daily in real estate negotiations, educating homebuyers and sellers, and effectively marketing The Thomas Group’s listings. Michael’s peers often describe him as dedicated, attentive, honest, detail-oriented, proactive, and fun to be around.  When Michael isn’t helping clients, he enjoys spending time with his family, learning new skills, going on adventures, and golfing.
