Ocotillo
Named after the curious southwestern desert plant Fouquira Splendens, Ocotillo the plant and Ocotillo the master planned community share a common feature – they both thrive on water!
Ocotillo, the community, grew out of the desert of south Chandler beginning in 1986. Covering 1,900 acres, it now boasts 167 acres of pristine lakes, cascading waterfalls and 33 miles of shoreline! Ocotillo’s internationally acclaimed golf course features more water hazards than any other! While some people love Ocotillo for the amazing golf, non-golfers love it for the beautiful views, lush green parks and walking trails. Designated as one of the best places to live in the valley by the Arizona Republic, Ocotillo is a community that is favored by many.
Ocotillo is a master planned community comprised of over a dozen subdivisions. The oldest of these communities were built in the 1980’s and new communities are still being built. With a combination of luxury mansions bordering the water, single family detached homes, condominiums, townhomes and even a retirement community, Ocotillo offers something for everyone.
